Marylebone House June Releases
For June 2016 Marylebone House is delighted to release two exciting new novels.
Both Daniel Taylor's gripping 'Death Comes for the Deconstructionist' and Sarah Meyrick's beguiling 'Knowing Anna' are debut novels from two excellent authors, and demonstrate both the growing depth and historic breadth of the Marylebone House list.
Daniel Taylor is an American writer and speaker, who has written a number of non-fiction books and maintains a regularly-updated website. His engaging 'Death Comes for the Deconstructionist' is a multi-faceted crime novel that has already attracted attention, winning the prestigious Fiction Book of the Year award from Christianity Today, and being described by reviewers as 'an engrossing and satisfying whodunnit' and 'as satisfying as a murder mystery can be'.
Sarah Meyrick studied Classics at Cambridge and Social Anthropology at Oxford, furnishing her with a fascination for the stories people tell and the worlds they inhabit. Alongside her day job, she is Director of the Bloxham Festival of Faith and Literature. 'Knowing Anna' is described in mysterious terms on the author's own website, 'Anna has one last request: that those who love her should walk the Pilgrims Way to Canterbury in her memory'.
These two debut novels are by different authors but share themes of encounter, mystery and an invitation into a deeper story. Marylebone House is proud to publish these two exciting books, and we look forward to hearing what our readers think.
